Craziness, Saddness, & Happiness

And I thought things would slow down once we had moved into the house! Well, I guess they have a little. Chad and I actually have time to watch a movie - we have a lot of catching up to do. We have watched No Reservations (Romanticly Sappy), Superbad (Crudely Funny), Two Nights in Paris (interestingly funny), Batman Begins, and The Greatest Game Ever Played. Okay... so we have watched a lot of movies. It is nice though to finally be able to relax. Relax??? Did I really just say that? Before we get to the movie part, it is unpack this box, decide what to do with some of our stuff, do another load of laundry, put some more insulation somewhere, trim something, clean something, sort wedding gifts, buy stuff, shop around for stuff (mirrors, curtains, etc.). However, no complaints here! I am just loving being in the house... YAY!!!

We also finally closed. After about 6 reschedulings, they finally got the information right and got us in on Valentines Day. Everyone got their checks today. Everyone is happy... especially us! We paid 40 cents on the dollar plus lawyer costs for the supid lien but hey... could be worse!

On a different note, we attended the visitation for Catherine Maupin today in Henry. She was Jeremy's mother. Jeremy is one of Chad's closest cousins. My heart goes out to their family. She had 5 children. The youngest are 11 years old twins. That was our second visitation within a week. We also went to the visitaion for the mother-in-law for Chad's boss. Both lovely women passed away from cancer. I pray that both families find the strength to remember the best times and pull through this.

What else has been going on? Well, Leann is going to be a yoga instructor for Gold's gym. She has attended her training and is now completing her community service (teaching yoga). I attended her first session last night. She did excellent. She has that soothing yoga instructor voice and the 'class' flowed well. I hope to attend another one of her sessions before she becomes high demand and can't fit me in anymore! ;) Great job Leann!

As far as the business goes, I am really busy right now. Heathers wedding is coming up in just under two months! I am also taking their engagement photos this weekend. I am by no means a professional photographer... but I really enjoy pretending. haha I do have a great source... Bridget Barnlund from Imaginate Photography gives me hints and tips. Thanks Bridget! I am getting a new digital SLR within the next month. I guess that means that I will have to give my film SLR back to my mother who purchased it for me for my photography class in college. Hmmm... I will have to think about that one! ;)

Last time I said I would post some pics. Well I don't have anything new, so I will post some from a session I did with Julie and Grant...
