Last year, I was making Chad cookies on Valentines morning (a Sunday). Once I was done, I decided to take a quick nap. After 20 minutes, Chad woke me up and make me go take a pregnancy test. I knew I wasn't pregnant - I just took a test that Thursday before and got a big fat "Not Pregnant" sign AGAIN. After trying for 9 months, I was starting to worry that we wouldn't be able to conceive. I finally agreed, knowing that I was going to get the same result I got on Thursday. After all, I had a plan to put blue and pink ribbons on Rhyme and Tempest when I finally did find out that I was pregnant. I wanted to and see how quickly Chad would figure it out. Convinced I wasn't pregnant, I gave in. I marched upstairs and peed in a cup and let Chad in while we waited for the results. Chad read the directions while I already had the "stick" in the cup watching, waiting, for the big fat no so I could continue on with my day. All of a sudden the results popped up...
Pregnant! I gasped - loudly. Chad looked at the stick, looked at me, and said "Let me read the rest of the directions to make sure we did it right." HAHA Seriously though - it was a day I will never forget. I can't imagine getting better news! Thanks for the wonderful gift, Babe!
As you all know, our gift celebrated his first Valentines day today. He work a onesie to Daycare from Aunt Snic (Aunt Nichole) that said "#1 with the Ladies". HAHA! Perfect shirt for today! Jude has also celebrated his 3 month birthday. I set up a make shift studio and took some photos (sorry if you already saw them on Facebook)!
I have a lot more photos sitting on my camera. I plan to get them off this week for another update (hopefully on Friday).
Progress update: Jude ROLLED OVER! YAY! Yes, my macho man did it from his back to his front first. He is a little over achiever and had to do it the hard way first. Chad, Cheri and I were all watching him and leaning to our left as if it would help him get over. He was stuck on his arm. All of a sudden, his arm wiggled free and he was over. We all let out our excitement. Jude knew he did something right and just kept smiling. I wish I would have grabbed my phone to video it. Darnit!
Rhyme and Tempest get their teeth cleaned tomorrow. They don't get any breakfast. I feel so bad when we don't feed them. They always know something is up. We will also likely mention to Dr. Tackett how much fiber Tempest is getting lately. Chad came home and she ate about 1/4 of one of Jude's books. What is her obsession with paper! Seriously, she digs through Chads jeans to get out a receipt to shred it and eat it. What a goof ball!
11:12? Why can't I go to bed early! Oh well... who needs sleep anyway!
